Our Story

From a Reading Project to a Movement

What began in 2015 as a small idea is now a platform that motivates thousands of people to read regularly.

The founding of mimiread.com came at a time when many people's attention spans were rapidly declining. Our team recognized that reading not only imparts knowledge but also improves concentration and well-being. The first step was a local reading circle in Offenburg.

Within a year, the initiative had over 500 members. We developed a digital tool that provides daily reading recommendations based on personal interests. The response was overwhelming – users reported measurable improvements in their reading discipline.

Today, we collaborate with libraries, schools, and companies to promote reading as a key skill. Our goal remains: to help every person make reading a lasting habit.
